Collette Broeders instructed an introduction to paper making with pre-pulped fibres and a local plant from Pelee Island. Work students of the Quarry Project on Pelee Island harvested several plants that having been taking over the shores of Pelee Island
(Invasive Phragmites) and used these fibres for the hand papermaking workshop.
Participants produced a variety of sheets of paper with the Invasive Phragmites as well as other fibres with inclusions and natural elements surrounding Pelee Artworks.
