Merging industry with the arts and coinciding with Mayworks Windsor 2013, a mixed-media installation and projection by artist Collette Broeders is presented.

Industrial Passages: Punching Time” follows the journey of the workers movement in industrial spaces through collection of video, sound and tracings. During the past three years, artist Collette Broeders has been documenting the development in industrial spaces. Along with video and sound, Broeders has collected and traced patterns of movements in the manufacturing sector that include rust stains and marks of evidence of the worker left behind. These remnants form a methodical collection of markings culminating from an ongoing journey offering an opportunity to contemplate the spaces.

Collette Broeders gratiously acknowledges support by the Ontario Arts Council for this exhibition.
