Studio Faire – Open Studio (October 31, 2021) with Canadian artist Collette Broeders and from America, writers Lucille Dawson and Olivia Jampol.
A variety of inter-media, performance and drawings had been created over the duration of this residency. Visitors were invited to take away a limited edition Japanese stab bound book created by the artist from one of the performances, ‘Walking a Line’.
Lucille and Olivia both entertained with readings from their written work created whilst in residence at Studio Faire. For Lucille this was a young adult novel about facing life after death and for Olivia, a screenplay inspired by the mythologies of Costa Rica.
