According to Freud dreams were a means to tap into the unconscious levels of the mind and provided opportunity to investigate oneself on an unveiled level. Carl Jung believed that dreams became a way of communicating and are a window into the unconscious. Inspired by these ideas, the artists Samantha Therrien and Collette Broeders explore the metaphors and symbolic imagery pulled from the unconscious state of dreaming.
